This oil-free dressing is made with minced shallots, Dijon mustard, fresh lemon juice, tahini, garlic and onion powder and nutritional yeast.
While most Dijon mustards will do for this dressing, the one that we ABSOLUTELY love here at Rouxbe (especially at my house) is this Dijon by BEAUFOR. I have literally tried dozens (if not more) Dijon mustards in my time. In fact, in my early 20’s I was a Nanny in France for a couple of years and even back then I had a think for Dijon mustard, so I tried as many as I could — I even went to Dijon (ya know, in France) and tried them their too, but this is still my favorite. I could (and I sometimes do) eat it with a spoon it’s so good. It’s just the perfect balance of flavor, yet it’s not too hot or spicy. I buy it locally at a few stores around town and whenever I buy it, I buy at least 10 of them, cause ya never know when they might run out 🙂
Making the dressing takes only about 5 minutes, which means there’s almost no excuse to not go and whip up a batch right now. Seriously, what are you still doing here, go do it! 🙂
